Marigo Alexopoulou Greece    PWF 2005

Marigo Alexopoulou was born in 1976 in Athens. After graduating from the University of Athens in 1998 with a BA in Classics and Philosophy, she studied at the University of Glasgow. Her genuine enthusiasm for research in Hellenic Studies is evident in both her academic writing as well as her work as a poet.

Her first collection of poems, Faster Than Light, was published in 2000. After returning to her birthplace, Athens, she had her second collection of poems, Some day is missing, published in Greece in 2004.

Marigo Alexopoulou lives in Athens.
