Michael MarchMICHAEL MARCH PRESIDENT


Michael March—poet, founder and leading figure of the Prague Writers’ Festival—he received a History degree from Columbia College. Michael was born in New York, but has lived and worked in Europe since the 1970s. He is currently Professor of Poetry at New York University in Prague.

Vlasta MarchVLASTA BRTNÍKOVÁ MARCH VICE-PRESIDENT

Vlasta March has worked at the Prague Writers’ Festival since 1997. She wroteher dissertation thesis on artistic and literary critique.

Václav KovářVÁCLAV KOVÁŘ MEDIA

Václav is in charge of cooperation with Czech media and public relations, he is writing texts for festivals' web pages and is also responsible for press conferences, press center and interviews of authors.

Guillaume BassetGUILLAUME BASSET MEDIA

Guillaume Basset is working in the Prague Writers' Festival for the forth year, where he is in charge of the International relations and the media. Coming from Lyon, France, he stopped on this way to Prague in various literary and cultural associations such as Alliance Francaise de Lyon or the Hong-Kong Literary Festival.

Erika ZlamalováERIKA ZLAMALOVÁ EDITOR OF THE CZECH WEB

Erika Zlamalová graduated from the Institute of Czech Language ofthe Silesian University in Opava. Her thesis revolved around Czech literature. She began working for the website and the Prague Writers’ Festival in 2008.

Petr SoukupPETR SOUKUP PRODUCTION

Petr Soukup organizes advertisement campaigns and provides contact with sponsors andpartners. He studied at the College of Journalism in Prague, and began working for the Prague Writers’ Festival in 2009.

Andreas Patenidis ANDREAS PATENIDIS

Andreas Patenidis is responsible for the literary section of Grasp journal. He studied French. However, not finding it stimulating, he enrolled in American Studies (MA) at the Faculty of Arts. Since 2011 he has been involved in the Prague Writers’ Festival and he is now in charge of media partnerships.
