Hana Newman is Professor of French and Cultural Studies and Director of Global Cultural Studies at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Hana Newman has translated with Claude Doubinsky, Gérard Genette’s Palimpsestes from french into English and has also published translations of articles by Pierre Bourdieu. Ten years ago, she began teaching a course entitled ”Wealthy White Males”.
Newman’s latest is course Prejudice: Women, Jews, and Blacks, a psychological and social analysis of prejudice against three of the most constant objects of hate—in the order of their historical emergence as victims.
