Michael March
Michael March was born in New York in 1946, near the haunts of Isaac Bashevis Singer, close to the Museum of Natural History, closer still to the sins of the old world. A time when the cold war swung low over blue alligator sewers, when New York was a European city, and beauty bled The Armies of the Night.
Director of the Prague Writers’ Festival for the past twenty-nine years, Michael March is the author of ten collections of poetry: Goya, Disappearance, When she danced, Only a Promise, The Way Back, That to which All Things Aim, The Burnt Garments of Summer, The Place of Retreat, A fly that Flew Away, and Dancing on Ashes.
Michael March will speak with Arnon Grunberg and Michael Cunningham.
Michael March lives in Prague.
